We recently published a new version of the Color Calendar web part for Sharepoint 2016 and 2019 which now is also compatible with SP 2019 "modern" pages. The Color Calendar Web Part displays the color-coded appointments of the selected Sharepoint Calendar. The web part size can be freely specified which allows to create a "mini" calendar.
