Digital and Mitel are jointly developing a computing and telecommunications integrated (CTI) solution. The solution combines Digital's MS-Windows NT based AlphaServer platform, Mitel's MediaPath and Microsoft Exchange. This open CTI solution will allow voice mail, electronic mail, fax and other messaging media to converge in a single server platform. A single access point for the user is enabled through Microsoft Exchange's email in-box & browser facility.
