New Napa Valley Unified School District Web Site Set to Launch June 3rd, 2005
Wednesday, June 1, 2005

The Napa Valley Unified School District has chosen Campus Portal to build a new Web site--set to be published on June 3rd. This site is the answer to a community, staff and faculty call for a more accessible and useful NVUSD Web presence. The new platform will provide improved capacity, flexibility and usability, according to Jon Cornelison, SWS President, which will help Napa Valley better serve its diverse and growing student population.

The Napa Valley Unified School District includes 32 schools, which serve 16,500 students k-12. Over 1,600 employees, including staff, faculty and administrators, provide the instruction and infrastructure that promote educational success. As envisioned by the community and employees, the new site will make it simpler for teachers and departments to keep students and parents informed of important deadlines, events, opportunities and policies of the district, not to mention serve as a tool for parents to keep informed about issues related to the education of our children.
