Santa Monica, CA � After months of careful planning, Santa Monica College is pleased to announce the relaunch of their website, www.smc.edu.

The new site, based on Campus Platform, includes a site structure that will make the site easier to navigate and improve the user experience. The redesigned layout offers up a cleaner look and feel while providing separate channels for a number of different audiences: faculty and staff now have the ability to update course information, students can easily find class notes and campus information and, most importantly, new and incoming students now have a place to find information regarding SMC, courses and registration.

The Marketing staff at Santa Monica College intends to eventually use the new website as the main marketing channel for attracting new students. With the launch of the new site, prime real estate has been blocked out on the homepage for banner advertisements, upcoming events and news information, and links that lead directly to the most requested information by incoming students.
