Create a "Skills" search page

This post shows how to set up a page that allows users to search the SharePoint uaser profile store for specific user skills.

Prerequisites:

• The SharePoint user profle store "Skills" property needs to be populated by/for the users.
• The "User Profile Search" web part needs to be installed in the farm.
• The "Team Members" web part also needs to be installed in the farm.

• Filter Type: Checkboxes
• User Profile Property: SPS-Skills
• Options: empty=top

• Field Template:

• Property Filter: [SPS-Skills]={filter}
• Connect the two web parts.
