The AE Page Hits Web Part allows to display a page hit counter. The Web Part can be used with Windows Sharepoint Services V3, MOSS 2007, Sharepoint 2010, Sharepoint 2013 and Sharepoint 2016. Installation Instructions: download the Page Hits Web Part Installation Instructions (PDF file, see above)  either install the web part manually or deploy the feature to your server/farm as described in the instructions. Please first add a new List column of type “Number” named PageHits to the Sharepoint page library that hosts the page where you will be going to place the web part: configure the following Web Part properties in the Web Part Editor "Miscellaneous" pane section as needed: Template:  enter the template to be used to render the output. The following tokens are available: {hits}   (the total number of page hits so far) {since}   (the date the page was created) {hitsperday} (the number of page hits per day) Example 1: Page Hits: {hits} Example 2: <div style="width:200px;background-color:tomato;font:10pt Segoe UI;color:white;padding:6px"><font size=6>{hits}</font> page hits since {since}<br>Hits per day: {hitsperday}</div> Since Date: by default the web part uses the page creation date for the "{since}" and "{hitsperday}" tokens. You can override the default setting by entering a custom date. Active: activate or deactivate the Page Hit counter. Please note that this setting by default is turned off, so you will need to make sure to enable it. Show Today's Hits: either show the number of hits since the 'Since Date' or only today's hits (by resetting the page hit counter every day at midnight).
